In my opinion, Ali Hatami was not a filmmaker to make historical films. His view of history, in the ancient words of Paris, is a view of "milk and sugar." He is fascinated by Qajar culture. But he brings together what he likes to satisfy his desires and creates something that is Iranian, not historical.
Evidence of this claim is that he is the friend of the cave with the consent of Mohammad Ahasaei and Aydin Aghdashloo. In "Hajji Washington", he has two lines written on the two wings of the wall behind Haji. We know that Hosseinaghli Khajeh Nouri, who is the head of Sadr al-Saltanah and Haji Washhangatan of the story of Hatami, 1305 AH, was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran in Yingde Dunya.
