August 7 was a "historic moment" and a hasty transition to a national and patriotic response from its actors and audiences. The fate of Farahani, Mossadegh and many of the forerunners of Iran's social evolution should be examined from the perspective of elitism in the context of Iranian political history. Elitism is as much an acknowledgment of the vanguard of the social and cultural evolution of our homeland.
